Hagerty Classic Car Insurance

DO I QUALIFY FOR HAGERTY INTERNATIONAL'S CLASSIC CAR INSURANCE?

Hagerty offers competitive premiums and generous benefits to their classic car policyholders. We acknowledge that our clients are responsible drivers and classic car owners. In order to continue to offer the comprehensive cover and competitive rates for which Hagerty is known, we must consider several important factors in the approval process.

  • Regular-Use Vehicles: Each named driver needs to have a regular-use vehicle for daily driving and must maintain regular-use insurance in his or her own name.
  • Usage: Hagerty covers vehicles that are used on an occasional basis for example, club events, exhibitions, organised meets, tours, and pleasure driving.
  • Driving Convictions or Claims: Generally, one or two minor traffic violations or accidents are acceptable. We are not able to insure those who have experienced major infractions such as drink driving. All driving records are subject to review by an underwriter.

DOES MY CAR QUALIFY?

We offer full coverage for a huge variety of classic, stock, and safety-modified vehicles, including:
  • Veteran Cars (pre 1910)
  • Vintage Cars (1910 to 1950)
  • Classic Cars (1950 to 1970)
  • Modern Classic Cars (1970 to 1991)
  • Future Classic Cars (post 1991)
